Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice
Prepared to Fight Fire ("PTFF," "we," "us," or "our") — a trade name of Prepared to Dominate Life LLC, a Florida limited liability company, West Palm Beach, Florida.
Effective Date: November 2, 2026
About This Notice
This notice applies to consumer health data as that term is defined by the Washington My Health My Data Act, and to Washington consumers — people who live in Washington, and people whose consumer health data we collect in Washington.
It is separate from, and in addition to, our Privacy Policy.
We ask for your consent to collect this information on a separate screen in the app, shown after you sign in and before any of it is collected. The consent is separate from your agreement to our Terms, and its wording is quoted in Section 1 of our Privacy Policy.
The Consumer Health Data We Collect, Why, and How We Use It
Body and fitness profile
Your age, biological sex, height, weight, activity level, and fitness goals. We collect this to calculate your calorie and macronutrient targets, and to personalize the training and nutrition features you use.
Nutrition information
The food you log, calories, protein, carbohydrate and fat, and your water intake. We collect this so you can track your nutrition against those targets and see your own history.
Training information
The workouts you complete, sets, repetitions, the weights you lift, training volume, your workout ratings, and any notes you choose to record. We collect this so you can follow a program and see your training history and progress.
Progress photos, and the weight you record with one
The photograph itself, the date you added it, and, if you choose to enter one, a weight recorded against that photograph. We collect this so you can see your own physical progress over time inside the app. A photograph of your body together with a dated weight is the most sensitive information PTFF holds, and we treat it that way.
Health information you volunteer when you contact us
For example, if you describe an injury, a symptom, or a health condition in a support message, or attach a photograph of one. We use it only to answer you. We ask you not to send us medical records or diagnoses, because we do not need them in order to help.
The Sources We Collect It From
All of the consumer health data described above comes directly from you — entered by you in the app, photographed by you, or sent to us by you in a message.
We do not buy consumer health data, we do not obtain it from data brokers, and we do not collect it from other apps, wearables, health platforms, or any other third party.
The Consumer Health Data We Share
We do not share any of the consumer health data described above with third parties, with one exception, and that exception depends on a consent you give.
The exception: progress photos and the weight recorded with them, for marketing. Before you add your first progress photo, the app asks you to choose between two consents — one that allows us to store your photos and to use your photos, the weight recorded with them, and your name in marketing, testimonials and success stories, and one that allows us to store them for use in the app only, not in marketing. You must choose one, neither is pre-selected, and you cannot add a photo until you have chosen.
If you chose the app-only consent, nothing is ever published. If you chose the marketing consent, we may publish your progress photo, the weight recorded with it, and your name in our marketing.
You can change that choice at any time in the app under Profile → Account Settings, which stops any future use.
Material that has already been published cannot always be recalled. Withdrawing consent stops future use. Where we still control the material, we will remove it on request where it is reasonably practical to do so.
Nothing else in the list above is shared with anyone for any purpose.
The companies that operate PTFF are not third parties for this purpose. Google Firebase hosts our app and database, and Google Workspace delivers our email. They process consumer health data on our behalf and under our instructions, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
The Third Parties and Affiliates We Share It With
PTFF has no affiliates.
For everything other than the marketing exception above: none.
For the marketing exception, where you gave that consent, your photo, the recorded weight, and your name may be published:
- on our own website, where the public can see it;
- in our email newsletter, which is delivered for us by Klaviyo, to the people subscribed to it; and
- on our own social media accounts, including the platforms that host them, where the public can see it.
We Do Not Sell Consumer Health Data
PTFF does not sell, and does not offer to sell, consumer health data. Washington law requires a signed authorization before any such sale, and we do not seek one because we do not sell this data.
Your Rights, and How to Exercise Them
If you are a Washington consumer, you have the right to:
- Confirm and access — to confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling consumer health data about you, and to obtain that data, together with a list of all third parties and affiliates we have shared or sold it to and a way to contact them.
- Withdraw your consent — to withdraw your consent to our collection and sharing of your consumer health data.
- Delete — to have your consumer health data deleted.
- Appeal — to appeal if we refuse to act on one of these requests.
How to make a request
Email us at hello@preparedtofightfire.com, or use the support form on our website and choose the "Privacy or data request" category. Both reach the same place.
Tell us which right you are exercising and the email address on your PTFF account. We may need to verify your identity before we act, so that we do not disclose or delete someone else's data.
Some of this you can do yourself, immediately
- Delete a single progress photo — in the app, on the Stats tab.
- Change or withdraw the marketing consent for your photos — in the app, under Profile → Account Settings.
- Withdraw your consent to our collection and use of your fitness and nutrition information — in the app, under Profile → Account Settings, on the card headed "Fitness and nutrition information." The training and nutrition features stop working until you agree again.
- Delete your account and the data in it — in the app, under Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account.
We keep a record of your consent and of any withdrawal of it. Deleting your account removes both records.
How long we take
We will respond without undue delay, and in all cases within 45 days of receiving your request.
Where it is reasonably necessary, we may extend that once, by a further 45 days. If we do, we will tell you within the first 45 days and give you the reason.
What deletion means
When you ask us to delete your consumer health data, we delete it from our records, including from backup and archived systems, and we notify any processor or other recipient of that data so that they delete it too.
Where the data sits only in a routine backup, deletion from that backup may be delayed to allow the backup to keep working — by no more than six months.
Deleting your consumer health data does not cancel a paid subscription. You cancel that through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our website, depending on where you bought it.
How to appeal
If we refuse to act on your request, you may appeal by emailing hello@preparedtofightfire.com with "Appeal" in the subject line.
We will respond in writing within 45 days of receiving your appeal, telling you what action we have taken or explaining why we have denied it.
If we deny your appeal, you may submit a complaint to the Washington State Attorney General at https://www.atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
If This Notice Changes
If we want to collect, use, or share a category of consumer health data, or to use it for a purpose, that this notice does not already disclose, we will update this notice and obtain your affirmative consent before doing so.
